Below are the minimum eligibility requirements to enroll in AFROTC. Please send us an e-mail if you have any questions: afrotc@csusb.edu:
- Enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college that hosts or has a crosstown agreement with an Air Force ROTC detachment
- A United States citizen (or actively in pursuit of US citizenship)
- In good physical condition
- Of good moral character
- 14 years or older (17 years old to receive a scholarship)
- Committed to attending both the aerospace studies class and Leadership Lab each semester
Sophomore applicants considering the 3-year program will be considered case-by-case with higher standards. We recommend that sophomore applicants are able to meet/accomplish the following:
- GPA >3.0
- Ability to pass the Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) with a score of >90
- Must pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) within the first semester
Sophomore applicants unable to meet these requirements are still able to join the program through the standard 4-year program.
