Injury Illness Prevention Program
The Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) ensures a safe working environment and helps reduce the number and severity of workplace injuries. One of the fundamental tenants of an IIPP is that workers have a right to report safety concerns without fear of reprisal. The IIPP outlines hazard reporting procedures, and hazard mitigation strategies aimed to reduce injuries. New injury reporting procedures have been developed based on employee feedback and reducing the risk of future injuries through an integrated root cause analysis process.

Goals
- Protect the health and safety of employees.
- Reduce lost work time due to injuries and illnesses.
- Reduce risk of repeat injuries.
- Minimize potential violations and financial penalties from regulatory agencies.
