Course Offerings

Below are a series of tables that show the typical offerings of courses by the Department of Communication & Media.

GE courses that we offer and core courses in the major, as well as core courses in the concentrations and practicums and internships, are offered every Fall and Spring semester and often in the Summer sessions.

The electives, especially special topics, are offered on a rotation which is also influenced by availability of expertise (i.e. faculty experts in any given subject), so we cannot exactly predict when they will be offered.

The official schedule of courses is available online approximately 6 to 9 months in advance of each semester.

Please note that occasionally some courses do get cancelled due to low-enrollment. The department does its best to minimize any disruption to students if this occurs, and we work with affected students to find alternative courses and possible course substitution in such cases.
