TK-2 Series:
Dates: 8/13/2026, 9/17/26, 10/8/26 & 11/5/2026
Build your confidence in supporting educators of our youngest mathematicians! In this dynamic professional learning series, participants will explore Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) strategies that nurture children's mathematical thinking from preschool through the early elementary grades. Grounded in the California Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations and early elementary standards, this series equips educational leaders and teachers with practical, research-based approaches to foster joyful, meaningful mathematics learning.
- Each session runs from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.
- Lunch is not included.
3-5 Series:
Dates: 10/22/26, 11/12/26, 12/3/26 & 1/14/27
Empower yourself to support Grades 3–5 mathematics teachers! In this interactive professional learning series, teacher leaders will take a deep dive into the essential mathematical concepts that serve as the foundation for students' long-term success. Explore instructional strategies that strengthen students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and mathematical discourse. Aligned with the California Mathematics Framework and grade-level standards, this series provides practical, research-based approaches that build on students' thinking and help teachers create classrooms where every learner can thrive.

6-8 Series:
Dates: 2/4/27, 3/4/27, 4/8/27 & 5/6/27
Build your capacity to support middle school mathematics teachers! This transformative professional learning series is designed to deepen both your mathematical content knowledge and instructional expertise for supporting Grades 6–8. Explore research-based strategies that foster students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, productive struggle, and meaningful discourse while developing strong conceptual understanding. Aligned with the California Mathematics Framework and grade-level standards, this series equips educators with practical tools to create engaging, student-centered classrooms where all learners can develop confidence and achieve success in mathematics.
- Each session runs from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.
- Lunch is not included.
**Note: While the intended audience is Math TOSAs, Coaches, PD Specialists, etc., these series are also valuable for teachers. Teachers are welcome to attend, as long as they attend with a Math Support person who can provide follow up, to ensure that the learning transitions into the classroom.
