Fees and Financing
The Early Childhood Trauma Informed Care certificate program consists of three (3) courses and costs a total of $3,510. The following payment options are available to students:
Students may register and pay for courses up front using the Register for Courses button in the Student Center. This form allows students to select which course(s) to enroll in and pay for prior to classes starting. Each course costs $1,170.
The registration form only allows students to select the course(s) that are open for enrollment at the time.
Students may request an Installment Payment Plan (IPP) to split tuition for each course into three (3) installments. Tuition for each course with an IPP is $1,203. The first payment is half the cost of tuition for the term, plus a $33 administrative fee. The remaining cost of tuition for the term is split into two (2) equal payments. Payment deadlines are based on the length of the term.
Please refer to the chart below for how payment deadlines are assigned:
Installment Payment | Amount Due | Payment Deadline |
---|---|---|
Payment 1 | $618.00 | 1st day of course |
Payment 2 | $292.50 | 14 days after course begins |
Payment 3 | $292.50 | 28 days after course begins |
Please email LeShay Dorsey at ldorsey@cdusb.edu to request a payment plan.

College of Extended and Global Education (CEGE) certificate programs and courses are eligible for private loans. The choice of a lender and guarantor is a decision and responsibility only you may make as the borrower. CEGE does not endorse or have an affiliation with any lender. Please contact your financial institution for further information about their private student loan program.
Full payment of class fees is due at the time of registration. Loan certification is not a guarantee, and terms and conditions must be accepted by CEGE. Use the following steps to pay tuition with a private student loan:
- Apply for a private loan with a lender of your choice
- Notify CEGE staff of approved private loan by calling (909) 537-5976
CEGE is only able to certify the loan relating to the total estimated cost of the tuition
Once the loan is confirmed, the lender will disburse funds to CEGE, where they will be applied to the student's account. In the event that the lender makes an over-payment, funds will be disbursed to the student by check. Any unpaid balance remaining after loan funds are disbursed will be due immediately, to be paid by the student.
If an employer (or another 3rd party funder) will be paying tuition on a student's behalf, they will need to provide a signed letter of intent on company letterhead to LeShay Dorsey at ldorsey@csusb.edu. The letter of intent must contain the following information:
- Student's name and date of birth
- Program name
- Program cost
- Course information
- Dates of enrollment
- Payment method (invoice, credit card, Paypal, or wire)
