Pre-Nursing Major Information
Pre-Nursing majors may consider working toward another degree while applying to the Nursing program after their prerequisite coursework is complete or students may decide another health-related route is a better fit for them. A BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion is a great option for pre-nursing students. All pre-nursing coursework counts toward the Kinesiology degree with a concentration in Health Promotion. Please see "Pre-Nursing Roadmap" to better understand and guide students in this process. Students can also see a Kinesiology faculty advisor to help them transition into the Kinesiology program.
