Mandatory Appointments
Campaign	Timeline	Description
Academic Notice	Fall, Spring, Summer	Direct outreach to students placed on academic notice to identify and develop strategies for academic success. Required meeting with an academic advisor.
First-Time Freshmen (FTF)	First Semester	All FTF are required to meet with their assigned academic advisor in the first term.
Pre-Major	Fall, Spring, Summer	Proactive outreach to evaluate pre-major milestone accomplishment. Required meeting with an academic advisor.
Risk Levels	Fall, Spring, Summer	Proactive outreach, leveraging canvas student data to address low academic progress or lack of class engagement. Required meeting with an academic advisor.
Transfer Students (TFR)	First Year	Transfer students must meet with an academic advisor to develop educational and graduation plans and connect with academic departments and campus resources.

Caseload Management
Student Milestone	Timeline	Description
Active Not Enrolled	Fall and Spring	Outreach to students who are active status and who have yet to enroll for the current term. The goal is to identify the reason and provide support and resources to help the student retain continuous enrollment.
Basic Skills	First Year	Completion of Golden 4 (quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, oral communication, written communication) during the first year at CSUSB.
Grad Check Filed, Requirements Not Met	Fall, Spring, Summer	Students with graduation checks filed but still need a graduation requirement. Advisors work with students to ensure they take action to meet the requirement to graduate the term the grad check is filed for.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)	Fall, Spring, Summer	Direct outreach to students who are on SAP. Advisors work with students to develop an academic success plan and to review the SAP appeals process.
Schedule Checks	Fall and Spring	Review student schedules during the first year to ensure classes align with the academic plan and students are enrolled in 15 units or more.
Time-to-degree: Under-enrollment	Fall, Spring, Summer	Outreach to students enrolled for less than 15 units, with a four-year graduation goal, and students who will be at less than 30 units at the end of the spring term.
Undeclared	Fall and Spring	Explore student interests in their career during the first year at CSUSB. Students are connected to resources and academic departments as they identify areas of interest. This aims to support the declaration of a major within the first year.
