As of Fall 2024, CSUSB enrolls 17,900 students (FTES: 15,169). The university reflects its strong regional mission, with 88% of students coming from San Bernardino and Riverside counties, 9% from other California counties, 3% international students, and less than 1% from out-of-state. In addition, 2,138 students (12%) take at least one unit at the Palm Desert Campus.

As of Fall 2024, the Jack H. Brown College (JHBC) enrolls 3,607 students (FTES: 2,980). Consistent with CSUSB’s mission, JHBC students are primarily regional, with 1,906 (53%) from San Bernardino County and 1,156 (32%) from Riverside County. Additional enrollment includes 343 (9%) from other California counties, 11 (<1%) from other U.S. states, and 191 (5%) international students.
