Meet the Team!

Meet your Mentors

Our Peer mentors are students just like you, learn more about your mentors and their educational journey here! To ensure the best experience possible, peer mentors are students of similar academic background (Arts and Humanities disciplines). This not only gives you a chance to connect with other students, but to learn more about your major with someone who shares similar interests and goals as you.

Alexis Felix

“Education should be celebrated, not challenged.”

As a first-generation Latina student, Alexis Felix has personally experienced some of the struggles common to students such as figuring out financial aid, the transfer process and fear of picking a major. Overcoming these challenges alone were not easy, but they have fueled her passion for helping students who are in the shoes she was once in. With three years of experience in peer mentoring, Alexis is confident and excited to continue helping students achieve their academic goals.

Alexis is a proud SBVC and CSUSB Alumni. She is currently a Graduate student at the University of Redlands pursuing her master's in education for school and college counseling. She loves to bake and travel!
