PDC Student Success Center Project

Dear Campus Community,

As announced last month, construction for the new Student Success Center Project at the Palm Desert Campus is starting. The project is located on the east side of Berger Circle. Phase I Construction, will begin Monday, June 2, 2025.

Construction will advance in 3 phases; project site fencing will be modified as the project progresses, notifications to the campus community will be provided prior to fencing modifications, attached is phase -1 of the temporary construction fencing.

Areas affected by Construction: Phase-1

Construction fencing shall restrict unauthorized access into the construction site. Please exercise caution when traveling around the construction site and follow all construction signage.

In Phase I, a portion of parking Lot B will be within the construction fencing area.

Please reference the project map below. The Disruption Plan highlights pedestrian paths, vehicular paths and construction fence placement for Phase 1. Further construction notices will be shared as the project progresses.

Emergency Hydronic Pipe Repair

In order to address critical repairs to hydronic lines under the landscape areas next to the College of Education building and the Student Union North building, and in Vault 13 near Parking Structure 2 (East), construction in these areas is planned to begin Thursday, January 22, 2026, and is anticipated to last 8 weeks.
