Immersive Learning Space (PL003)

The Immersive Learning Space at CSUSB is a dedicated space where faculty, staff, and students can explore the future of teaching, learning, and training through cutting-edge immersive technologies. Located in the basement of the Pfau Library (PL003), the lab is designed to foster collaboration, inspire creativity, and enrich instruction by moving beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Using META Quest 2 headsets and explore a growing library of immersive content that supports interactive experiences, deeper engagement, and stronger knowledge retention.

Immersive Learning Content

In the Immersive Learning Space, faculty, staff, and students can explore a variety of immersive experiences designed to enhance learning and introduce users to virtual reality technologies. The Multimedia and Immersive Technologies (MIT) team has developed a collection of interactive programs and experiences available for you to try.

Faculty who wish to integrate specific VR content into their courses can contact the MIT staff to have headsets pre-loaded with customized materials for their students.

Immersive Learning Space: Content Library

The Immersive Learning Space offers a growing library of virtual reality experiences designed to engage, educate, and inspire. From breathtaking world travel to CSUSB-produced immersive documentaries and simulations, these experiences provide a new way to explore knowledge and connect with global perspectives.

YouTube 360° travel experiences
