Eladio Gonzalez Cabrera - DSA Academy 2024/2025 Participant

Eladio Gonzalez Cabrera - "Throughout the in-person sessions, I gained a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Student Affairs professional. My participation in the program enhanced my theoretical and practical knowledge about the history, applications, and future prospects of the Student Affairs field. Additionally, through the cohort model used in the program, I learned about various departments on campus and met new colleagues who are doing extraordinary work.

I also had the chance to network and explore different graduate programs at the University of Redlands. The collaborative spirit fostered by this program between CSUSB and University of Redlands is a testament to the value of developing well-rounded higher education professionals. Overall, I highly recommend that others apply for the upcoming Student Affairs Academy. Participating in this program made my first year on campus very memorable and allowed me to thrive as a new Yotie staff in Student Affairs."
