Accounting Association & Beta Alpha Psi

The Accounting Association and scholastic honor society Beta Alpha Psi work closely together and meet regularly throughout the semester. Throughout the year, they host events featuring speakers from local CPA firms, governmental accounting agencies, private companies, and CPA review courses. AA and BAP students also organize the annual Meet the Firms and Meet the Government events, which are the largest networking opportunities for accounting and finance students.

American Marketing Association (AMA)

The American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter at CSUSB is a student-led organization dedicated to helping students develop professional marketing, leadership, and networking skills. The chapter provides members with hands-on learning opportunities through workshops, guest speaker events, career development activities, and networking with industry professionals. AMA at CSUSB is open to students of all majors and focuses on empowering students to build their personal brands, gain real-world business experience, and prepare for successful careers in marketing and business. The organization also emphasizes collaboration, diversity, and professional growth while connecting students to one of the largest marketing associations in the world.

Cyber Intelligence & Security Organization (CISO)

The Cyber Intel & Security Organization is devoted to the art and science of information security. It helps develop the next generation of cyber professionals by enabling students to work on projects that build their skills. Projects students can participate in include network analysis, malware analysis, ethical hacking, and car security.

Entrepreneurship Club

"Think Like An Owner!" - The Entrepreneurship Club is where innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship thrive at CSUSB. Open to students of all majors, the club provides a supportive community for aspiring entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and grow their ideas. Known for supporting student-owned small businesses and hosting vendor markets on campus, the Entrepreneurship Club creates opportunities for students to showcase their products, gain real-world experience, and build valuable connections.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the largest business career and technical student organization in the world, dedicated to preparing students for careers in business and business-related fields. Through a mix of academic competitions, leadership development programs, and community service initiatives, the organization helps members build essential real-world skills. Our chapter mission is help and develop students’ soft skills for the real world.

Palm Desert Campus (PDC) Business Club

The PDC Business Club at CSUSB's Palm Desert Campus connects students with the business community of the Coachella Valley. The club supports students' career and professional development through networking opportunities, industry engagement, guest speakers, workshops, and career-focused events. With a special emphasis on business and hospitality management, members gain valuable insights from local professionals and leaders while building the skills and connections needed for future success. Whether you're exploring career paths, seeking internships, or looking to expand your professional network, the PDC Business Club provides that bridge.

Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)
The SHRM Student Chapter provides students with opportunities to develop professionally in the field of human resources. The chapter focuses on leadership development, career preparation, SHRM-CP exam preparation, and a stronger understanding of HR practices. Through guest speakers, professional networking, and chapter activities, students gain exposure to real workplace issues and the evolving role of HR in organizations. Our goal is to help students build meaningful connections and prepare for successful careers in human resources and management.

Women in Cyber Security at CSUSB

The Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Student Chapter at CSUSB is creating a welcoming but driven community for students who want to grow into strong cybersecurity professionals. As part of the global WiCyS organization, the chapter connects students to a larger network of women, allies, mentors, industry leaders, and career opportunities across the cybersecurity field.

The chapter gives students hands-on, industry-relevant experiences that build on CSUSB’s NCAE-designated cybersecurity curriculum and help connect classroom learning to real-world cyber work. Through mentorship, technical training, professional development, research opportunities, and career-focused experiences, WiCyS supports a diverse pipeline of students who are ready to learn, lead, and make an impact in cybersecurity.

HONOR SOCIETIES

Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society that recognizes the top 10% of undergraduate students and top 20% of graduate students at AACSB-accredited business schools for academic excellence and leadership potential. At CSUSB, eligible students are notified through their MyCoyote email after the Spring semester census, while some graduate students may receive invitations during the Fall semester. Beta Gamma Sigma is not a club; membership is by invitation only to qualified students.

Pi Alpha Alpha

Pi Alpha Alpha is the national honor society for public affairs and administration that recognizes outstanding academic achievement in programs affiliated with the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Membership is by invitation and is awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, and public service. The Public Administration will invite all qualifying students to the Pi Alpha Alpha induction ceremonies via email.

Sigma Nu Tau

Sigma Nu Tau is an entrepreneurship honor society with the mission to promote, recognize, and reward academic excellence in entrepreneurship and to encourage and recognize the practice of principled entrepreneurship. Cal State University, San Bernardino, through the Jack H. Brown College of Business & Public Administration's Randall W. Lewis School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, hosts the second largest chapter in the world!
