
Every year, Hispanic Outlook on Education features Top 100 lists to chart the national progress of Hispanics in higher education and to recognize the institutions that are committed to serving Hispanics’ educational needs.

The Mary Stuart Rogers Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus.

CSUSB will offer Winter Intersession courses starting in December to help students who want to accelerate their progress toward graduation.

“Brave Hearts: A Virtual History of Sherman Indian Boarding School,” set to launch on California Indian Day, Friday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m., will feature the history of Sherman Indian Boarding School, the students who attended, and its legacy in Native communities.

As an HSI, the university actively opens the doors to opportunity, provides more accessible support and resources, and ultimately supplies students the tools needed for successful careers and fulfilling futures.

U.S. News & World Report rankings are considered one of the most influential and anticipated recognitions for colleges and universities that provide a full range of undergraduate and master’s degree programs throughout the United States.

Cal State San Bernardino is one of 126 colleges in the “Best Western” section in The Princeton Review’s 2022 Best Colleges: Region by Region list. It is the 18th year the university has been recognized as one of the best colleges in the west.

CSUSB was ranked seventh out of 616 colleges in the Master’s University category, ninth out of 215 colleges in the Best Bang for the Buck in the West category, and listed among America’s Best Colleges for Student Voting.

CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales delivered the keynote address, sharing campus achievements and advice for students during the Aug. 26 event.

“The way we operate as a university will not look entirely the same as during our pre-pandemic days. However, the fact we will once again be able to interact face-to-face this fall, without a screen in between us, is a cause for celebration,” said CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales.

CSUSB will become the first Southern California public university to establish a Master of Science Physician Assistant program to help address the severe shortage of healthcare professionals serving the Inland Empire.

CSUSB has earned the STARS silver rating in recognition of its sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
