Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

For the Media

Cal State San Bernardino’s Office of Marketing and Communications (MarCom) is the first stop for media requesting information from or about CSUSB. We provide full service support to the media, including news releases, statistics, biographies, background information, contact information, interviews, photographs and artwork. We are happy to arrange interviews with key campus personnel and direct media to the appropriate faculty expert, when needed.

Media inquiries should be funneled through the MarCom, which will contact the appropriate campus spokesperson.

MarCom provides legitimate news stories that are written well and delivered in a timely manner. The MarCom staff writes articles in basic news style using the Associated Press Stylebook so wire services, newspapers and online and electronic media have to make few or no changes. The MarCom news releases provide sufficient facts for news outlets to write their own stories or serve as a background for potential interviews.
