Your Role as Reviewer:
Steps for Rating Each QLT Course Objective
  1. Review Each Objective
Read the section title and objective carefully. Look for evidence in the course that shows how each QLT objective is addressed.

  2. Determine the Rating (Met or Not Met)
Decide if each objective is Met or Not Met. Use the 5-minute rule: if you can’t find evidence of the objective within five minutes, a student likely can’t either.

  3. Provide Constructive Feedback (for Not Met)
When rating an objective as Not Met, use the Five Elements of Effective Feedback:

    1. Start with a positive statement

    2. Offer a possible solution

    3. Ensure feedback is observable (something that can be visually verified)

    4. Be respectful and professional

    5. Remember—there’s always RFI (Room for Improvement)

Optional Feedback (for Met):  For objectives rated as Met, you’re encouraged to include quick suggestions or ideas for improvement. This doesn’t need to follow the full five-element format.

Important Note: Unless an objective specifically indicates “➡️Hybrid,” all descriptions and examples of evidence apply to both fully online and hybrid modalities.
