
Family, friends and former coworkers joined the university community for the annual Day of Remembrance, hosted by CSUSB’s College of Natural Sciences, of which five of the 14 were alumni of the Department of Biology and Department of Health Science.

Understanding how ADHD and psychostimulant treatments interact with sleep and neurodevelopment could inform medical professionals, guiding decisions on pediatric ADHD treatment to minimize long-term impacts on sleep health.

Cal State San Bernardino and its Palm Desert Campus will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

Cal State San Bernardino hosted the annual Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research on Nov. 23. The university was well represented with 84 CSUSB students across multiple academic disciplines who presented their work in the form of oral presentations, posters, and creative exhibits and performances.

The free workshop will be hosted by CSUSB’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration on Monday, Dec. 2, from noon to 1 p.m. The event will take place in person and on Zoom, and it is open to the public.

Join the students, faculty and staff of the Department of Nursing when they mark the department’s 50th anniversary. Celebrations are set for Tuesday, Dec. 3: 10 a.m.-noon at Palm Desert Health Sciences (HS) Lobby at the Palm Desert Campus, and 3-5 p.m. in the Health and PE (HP) Complex Lobby and HP 239 at the San Bernardino campus.

CSUSB’s Department of Theatre Arts will host the production, "Mariposa/Butterfly,” from Dec. 6-8 at the university’s Ronald E. Barnes Theatre. Tickets are available now.

The College of Natural Sciences hosted a talk with Dr. Dustin Willis, an accomplished physical therapist, shared his journey to becoming an influential figure in sports medicine and the values that guide his career in an engaging session.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the California State University, which includes CSUSB, and the federal agency confirms the collaboration effort focused on opportunities to encourage students to seek federal careers in health.

Cal State San Bernardino’s Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) recently hosted two events celebrating student entrepreneurs and business owners in the community: the Garner Holt Student Fast Pitch Competition on Nov. 14 and the Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards Gala on Nov. 22.
