
CSUSB is proud to join with Excelencia in Education to bring to the public “25 Years of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs),” a new, major research project. A briefing will be held online beginning at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 2.

The CSU and CSUSB will hold the annual Super Sunday outreach virtually to African American churches throughout the state on the importance of higher education.

Morales and Palm Desert Campus Dean Jake Zhu participated in the program, “Destination Talent Coachella Valley – The New Realities in Higher Education,” hosted by OneFuture Coachella Valley and the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The program was originally livestreamed Jan. 25.

The California State University Board of Trustees has awarded its prestigious Wang Family Excellence Award, Outstanding Faculty Innovator in Student Success, to CSUSB psychology professor Cynthia Crawford.

CSU Chancellor Timothy P. White will hold a virtual talk with Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases on COVID-19 on Dec. 18.

More than $61,000 was raised by 300 donors. The goal this year was to raise enough funds to provide 50 students with $1,000 scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year.
