The School of Social Work at Cal State San Bernardino welcomed its newest students recently at a dinner before the start of the fall 2026 semester.
Students gathered at the Santos Manuel Student Union North Conference center on Aug. 19 for the New Student Orientation Dinner to meet the school’s faculty and each other. Among the speakers, school Director Deirdre Lanesskog, along with associate director Armando Barragan and associate professor Nicole Arcadie gave welcoming remarks.
Alumni from the School of Social Work number in the thousands and are leaders in the social work community. The school’s Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) are nationally accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
