Program criteria
The TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) Program serves individuals who meet federally established eligibility criteria and who have a need for assistance in preparing for and pursuing postsecondary education. Participant eligibility and selection requirements are outlined in 34 CFR ยง644.3, which establishes the criteria for individuals who may receive EOC project services. Be a citizen, national or permanent resident of the United States
- Be enrolled or interested in enrolling into a community college, trade or vocational school, private, or public four-year college
- Have a need for one or more of the offered services
- Reside in San Bernardino or Riverside County
- Priority consideration will be given to individuals who are 19 years or older and who are low-income and/or first-generation; High School Seniors are eligible to apply
* Students without a high school diploma can still qualify for this program. We can assist with resources and information to obtain a GED and prepare for college.
