Assessment Oriented Framework for Strategic Planning

Presentation give by CSUSB Assessment Capability Collaborative (ACC) group: Pamela Moses, Ph.D., Jane Chin Davidson, Ph.D., Tom Long, Ph.D., and Jennifer Mersman, Ph.D.
The ACC presented to the Strategic Planning Task Force about the evidence-based practice of an assessment framework for strategic planning that is embedded with diversity, equity, and inclusion. Macro Trends & Best Practices in Higher Education and Strategic Planning

Dr. Friga presented to the Strategic Planning Task Force about the macro trends related to higher education as it relates to enrollments, graduation rates, and post pandemic implications. Strategic Planning Kickoff and Group Discussion Sessions
California State University, San Bernardino is embarking on a strategic planning process that will define the vision and direction of the University for the next five years and more. Learn more about the overall timeline visit the Timeline and Updates page.
The Strategic Planning Task Force was invited to attend the kickoff event for CSUSB Strategic Plan, held on Monday, November 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Santos Manuel Student Union North.
Speakers include: CSUSB President Tomas Morales; Kelly Campbell, Interim Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Co-Chief Diversity Officer, and Strategic Planning Co-chair; Nicole Dabbs, Professor and Department Chair of Kinesiology, Faculty Senate member, and Strategic Planning Co-Chair.
Following the President and Co-chairs remarks, the workgroups divided into breakout sessions and workgroup co-chair began discussions with groups. Please see the Kick-off Event Powerpoint slides and Meeting Agenda for details regarding discussion.
