Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Meet the Team

Diane Trujillo, Director
Diane has served as the Director of Sponsored Programs Administration since 2010. Diane has over 24 years of experience in research administration and has served in a variety of research capacities at CSUSB including Supervisor of Sponsored Programs Administration and Senior Research Administrator.   She provides leadership and direction to the post award team who manages all sponsored programs at CSUSB from award issuance through closeout and audits.  She currently serves as the vice chair of the CSU AOA Research Administration Committee.  She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master’s in Public Administration from CSUSB.

Julie Wessel, Senior Research Analyst
Julie started at CSUSB in 2007 as a Research Administrator and has over 12 years of experience working in the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration here at CSUSB. She has extensive experience in post award administration and financial administration of grants and sponsored programs at CSUSB. She is the key trainer of all incoming personnel and the primary liaison for effort reporting, participant support, and cost share. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master’s in Public Administration from CSUSB.

Yolanda Meyer, Research Analyst
Yolanda has worked for Cal State San Bernardino since 2006. She first joined CSUSB in 2006 as an Accounts Payable Administrator and in 2010 she transitioned to her current role as a Research Analyst. She has over 13 years of experience in contract review, budget analysis, AR & AP processes, as well as negotiating stringent grant administration guidelines.  She is responsible for the post award administration and financial administration of grants and sponsored programs at CSUSB. Prior to Yolanda’s employment at CSUSB, she owned and operated her own Contractor business in the Inland Empire with her husband for over 18 years.
