3/5 - Girls Just Wanna Watch Movies, DSA Women's Herstory Month Movie Night
To celebrate Women’s History Month, the Vice President’s Office for Student Affairs will host a collaborative movie night. We could potentially collaborate with the Women’s Resource Center. This event aims to create an empowering and inclusive space for CSUSB students to honor women’s achievements, promote gender equity, and connect with campus resources that support women’s success.
The evening will feature a screening of The Devil Wears Prada, a fun and uplifting film centered on women’s empowerment. Light refreshments will be provided to encourage social connection and engagement before and after the screening. Representatives from the Women’s Resource Center will also be present to share information about programs, services, and opportunities available to students.

3/17- Bridging The Parts of Her/HERitage & HERstory
In celebration of Women’s History Month and transition to APIDA Heritage Month, this banquet-style community event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Stacey Diane A. Litam, a nationally recognized scholar and advocate whose work explores the intersections of race, gender, culture, and identity. This event aims to bring together students, faculty, staff, and community members for an engaging afternoon of learning, reflection, and connection. Through Dr. Litam’s keynote address, attendees will explore how the experiences of women within APIDA communities are shaped by intersecting systems of identity and power, emphasizing the importance of intersectionality in fostering inclusive and equitable spaces. The program will include opportunities for dialogue, cultural sharing, and community building, allowing participants to honor diverse narratives while strengthening campus and community relationships. This event seeks to create a welcoming environment that celebrates identity in its full complexity, recognizes the contributions of APIDA women, and encourages ongoing conversations around inclusion, empowerment, and social justice. By combining celebrations with education, the event will embody CSUSB’s commitment to diversity, belonging, and collective growth.

An event to bring Black women who are students, staff, faculty, and alumni together to discuss leadership as well as highlight excellence in their lives. Hosted by the Student African American Sisterhood (SAAS) and the Office of Black Student Success (OBSS)

This year’s spring ACE Women’s Network of SoCal Lunch and Learn will celebrate women who are reshaping the meaning of leadership and crafting pathways that reflect their values, voices and visions. Our panel brings together leaders from the University of California, the California State University, and the California Community Colleges, each offering insight into what it means to lead authentically and on one’s own terms.

3/24- Las Monarcas
Join the Latinx Resource Center for a screening of "Las Monarcas de Pomona", a documentary highlighting a group of señoras and their journey with community organizing, healing, and community building. We will be joined by the student filmmakers that created the documentary and some of the women highlighted for a panel and Q&A.
