Note: Arab American Heritage Month is nationally recognized in April, and APIDA Heritage Month is celebrated in May. Our programming takes place throughout April to honor both communities and to ensure students have the opportunity to engage in these meaningful celebrations during the academic semester.

4/7 - Pasifika Culture Night (APIDA Heritage Month)
Pasifika Culture Night serves as a powerful space for cultural celebration, identity affirmation, and community-building. Through performances, storytelling, and shared traditions, we aim to honor and celebrate the richness of Pasifika cultures while empowering students in their academic and personal journeys.

4/8 - Food for Thought: Shawarma/Pastor (Arab American Heritage Month)
Join the APIDA and Latinx Resource Center for our last Food For Thought workshop of this semester! We will explore the history, significance, and correlation of Al Pastor and Shawarma.
 
This will be our last Food For Thought of this semester, but there is more to come in the fall!  ***Due to high attendance at our last two workshops, we’ve updated our location!

Join us for the Arab Tent, a vibrant celebration of Arab American Heritage Month from April 27–29. Enjoy a cultural tent experience featuring educational materials, traditional tea and coffee, and a selection of Arabic sweets.
