Request Services

MarCom wants to hear about your event, accomplishment or marketing needs. To get started, fill out our Request Services form with as much detail as possible.

Please Note: We prioritize requests with the greatest impact related to recruitment, admissions, and brand image. Our primary focus is on student recruitment and retention, increasing the visibility of a CSUSB education through enrollment initiatives. While resources may limit our ability to accept all requests, we want to be your strategic partner and will do our best to support your marketing and communication needs.

We’ll review your request and let you know how we can support. Please submit the request form only once per project. You can follow up with our project coordinator anytime using the job number provided in your confirmation email.

For faculty or staff needing a professional headshot appointment, MarCom offers an automated scheduling process just for these requests. (Please note: We do not provide professional headshots for students due to staffing limitations. If you need a list of recommended freelancers, please email MarCom@csusb.edu.)

Tell us if you need help promoting your event or want event coverage. Please note that our availability for event coverage is limited by staffing resources and current department projects. However, we're always eager to capture new imagery that highlights the unique and fun aspects of the Coyote student experience including the promotion / awareness of research and academic accolades, especially to aid in prospective student recruitment. Depending on the event and available resources, we may be able to capture a portion of the event.

Stories that best align with CSUSB brand values will be prioritized. Our current focus is on marketing and recruitment efforts that increase the visibility of a CSUSB education to prospective students and their parents within the region.

For creative services, please provide details about the purpose, goal, audience, budget, distribution plan (print and/or digital), and any additional information about your project. A kickoff meeting will be scheduled if we need more details or need to discuss the project further.
We ask for a 4-6 week lead time to allow for the creative design process, project management and adequate proofing time.

Ensure the text is already approved by necessary reviewers to avoid multiple rounds of edits. Departments/Units will have a maximum of 2 rounds of edits after the design process to help us stay on track with the desired deadline. If you need help with content creation, please let us know.
