Students from the Palm Desert Campus, home of the Paws Radio station, will collaborate with the Boys & Girls Club to create content, from broadcasts to brochures, videos and promotional materials, to improve the outreach and impact of the nonprofit organization in a positive way.

CSUSB Palm Desert Campus students will work together in teams to determine key messages, and will write and produce online, press, video and radio broadcast content focused on the programs and success stories of the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs.

Lacey Kendall and three friends have developed a technology package to help churches stream worship services to their members as their congregations complied with restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed large gatherings of any kind, Lacey Kendall saw a need to help local churches stream their services. With technology she and three friends developed, Kendall is seeking to help three historic Black churches in Riverside and San Bernardino counties go virtual.

KVCR will air an hour-long special featuring the literary talent of San Bernardino-area school children who were mentored by CSUSB students. The show can be heard at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Cal State San Bernardino’s two student radio stations, serving the university’s campuses in San Bernardino and Palm Desert have begun collaborating to bring four student/staff/faculty and administration programs to the listeners of both stations.
