The student-led and organized 11th annual Medical and Pre-Health Student Society Pre-Health Conference, which promotes the health sciences and career opportunities in the field, will take place at Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, Feb. 17.

The daylong conference is presented by CSUSB’s Medical and Pre-Health Student Society, also known as MAPSS. It will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the atrium of the James R. Watson and Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education. Cost is $15 per person and tickets may be purchased online on Eventbrite.

Students who have an interest in pre-med, nursing, pre-dental, pre-physician assistant, or interested in any other healthcare profession are encouraged to attend.

Information on education and career pathways, workshops and opportunities to network with healthcare professionals will highlight the day.

Among the scheduled presenters at the conference are the University of California, Riverside, School of Medicine; the UCLA School of Medicine; Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy; Western University of Health Sciences; and the California PostBacc Consortium.
