Social media and internet security were the topics of a networking breakfast and workshop hosted by the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration on Oct. 5.

The Brown College held the breakfast and workshop to benefit its seven advisory boards and for the community at large in the Inland Empire.

Held at the university’s Santos Manuel Student Fourplex, the free event featured:

  • Chris Suchanek, an experienced brand promoter and marketer who leads Firm Media’s client relationships. Suchanek has created some of the web’s most prominent sites in the legal, medical and dental industries.
  • Manal Michelle Iskander, the owner of Musicology, Green Shack, and PTronics, and cohost of Easting California on PBS. Iskander shared how she increased her business by 750 percent using social media and
  • The CSUSB Cyber Hygiene Team of Jack H. Brown College’s Cyber Security Center, which provided tips and a demonstration of how to protect a business’ online presence.
