Since starting college, I’ve been honing my public speaking skills. I’ve delivered numerous speeches, created polished presentations, practiced mock interviews, and developed a strong, clear understanding of what it takes to be an effective public speaker.

Why "I" work at the Speaking Center at JHBC

I want my peers to be confident in their speech. I believe everyone has a voice worth hearing, and I want to help them use it. Working here allows me to support students as they grow, push past nerves, and discover their own strengths.

For face-to-face appointments, or drop in appointments, we are located on the 2nd floor of Jack Brown in JB-230, just down the hall from the Dean's office. When you exit the elevator on the second floor, you walk towards the Dean’s office. To the right of the Dean’s office, there is a long hallway. The office will be on your right-hand side.
