Current Status:

1st year Graduate Student in the Department of Communication & Media

Public Speaking Experience:

As a communication scholar and a Graduate Teaching Associate I have the opportunity to teach my students how powerful and influential public speaking can be. Along with my many years of experience in the hospitality industry I began to have a deeper understanding as to why it is important to be an effective public speaker. Learning how to project your voice, adapt your words, alter your body language, understand your audience, and structure your delivery can make all the difference.

Why I work for the Speaking Center at JHBC:

I work at the Speaking Center because I believe that everyone can become a confident and effective public speaker. I aim to create a space that is comfortable and motivational for everyone. I want to share the knowledge I have learned over the years and help others find their own voice and feel confident enough to share it with the world.

My Consultant Philosophy:

As a Consultant, I am here to help guide you. I will always share the knowledge I have and any information that can help you grow into a confident public speaker. Public Speaking can be intimidating but I hope to create an environment that will allow you to be comfortable enough to make mistakes, take risks, and grow into a confident public speaker. The skills we learn can never be taken away from us, so lets learn and grow together!
