INK IT: PRINTS AND PROCESS
Exploring the Art and Techniques of Printmaking
February 20 - April 19, 2025
About the Exhibition
Ink it: Prints and Process is a student-curated exhibition that showcases more than 100 prints and works on paper from the RAFFMA collections.
Featuring a range of printmaking techniques, including linoleum cut, lithography, silkscreen, woodcut, drypoint, etching, and aquatint. This exhibition highlights the creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation behind original fine art prints. Unlike mass reproductions, fine art prints have depth, texture, and layers of ink that reveal the artist's creative process and unique vision. Through this project, RAFFMA's student assistants gained hands-on experience in every aspect of exhibition development, from research and writing to curation, design, and collection care.
