From the Vault

This spring, we also celebrated our Korean artifacts, thanks to a wonderful collaboration with the National Museum of Korea. This partnership allowed us to bring the rich stories of the Evans collection to life in a meaningful way.

As we reflect on this initiative, we also want to honor the late Dr. Anthony Evans, a vital presence at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art. His remarkable contributions—over 200 Asian artifacts—have greatly enriched our collection. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family during this difficult time.

We are sincerely grateful for Dr. Anthony Evans’s enduring legacy and the profound influence both he and Lois Evans have had on our museum. Our commitment to researching and expanding our understanding of this collection remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to sharing these insights with our visitors.
