The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) is bringing back the Kids Discover Egypt Workshop. This workshop will be held in person at RAFFMA. The workshop will take place over the course of 3 days and will be full of activities, crafts, and Ancient Egyptian lessons. These activities and lessons will give your child(ren) an Egyptian art experience with specialized crafts and exclusive Egyptian lessons by RAFFMA Staff.
The workshop is appropriate for children ages 6-15 and will allow participants to explore the rich history of ancient Egypt with kid-friendly activities. The Kids Discover Egypt workshop will take place over the course of three days and will consist of enjoyable activities, crafts, and fun interactive lessons to enjoy. Each registration will include entrance to the workshop, access to all supplies and materials needed, and a catered lunch. This supports RAFFMA’s mission to provide meaningful cultural experiences through educational programs to engage and inspire local, national, and international audiences.
Price: $65/per participant
Registration includes:
- 3 days of Art Activities and Crafts
- 3 days of Ancient Egyptian Lessons
- 3 days of provided snacks *participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch
- Supplies and materials for all activities and crafts
- Kids Discover Egypt Certificate of Completion

Can I register multiple children?
Yes, please complete separate registrations for each child.
When is the deadline to sign up?
Registration closes May 29th.
Is there a sign-up capacity?
Yes, due to the virtual modality, there is only space for 20 participants per session. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
If my child attended in years before, will the lessons and activities be the same?
Yes and no. Some activities and lessons will be brought back due to their popularity. There will be new activities and lessons as well.
Is there a virtual option this year?
No, there is no virtual option for Kids Discover Egypt this year.
