Dr. Popescu holds an M.A. in Society and Politics (Central European University), an M.A. in Communication (University of Pennsylvania) and a Ph.D. in Communication Studies (University of Pennsylvania). She is the Faculty Director of the Extended Reality for Learning (xREAL) Lab with Information Technologies and Services.
