Bio

Dr. Nicole L. Arkadie is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work who started at CSUSB in 2015 as an adjunct part-time lecturer. She has worked in Higher Education since 2007 and has worked in the field of Social & Behavioral Sciences for over 25 years. She is a Scholar Practitioner who researches clinical interventions to mitigate negative emotional responses among mental health therapists and factors that impact black maternal mental health and wellness. Dr. Arkadie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and can practice therapy independently in the State of California. 

Education

  • Bachelor of Sociology Degree from California State University of Long Beach
  • Master of Social Work Degree from California State University of Long Beach
  • Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership with Emphasis in Behavioral Health from Grand Canyon University
