Scheduling and Tuition

The CSUSB Children's Center offers different tuition funding options depending on families needs. We offer state-funding to families that qualify according to income eligibility and California Department of Education and Department of Social Services priorities. We also support CSUSB student parents with CCAMPIS funding that provides care while students are in class. In addition, families may pay full-cost tuition to attend our center. We do not have a registration fee to apply for our waitlist applications.

State Funded Tuition

Subsidized fees are available for families who qualify. Subsidized care is offered when family income meets specific criteria established by the State of California. We require specific paperwork and documentation to confirm eligibility to receive state-funding.

Student Families - Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Funding

Student families may be eligible for subsidized tuition through our CCAMPIS grant. CCAMPIS covers care while you are in class and studying. If you are a CSUSB student enrolled for Spring, Pell-eligible, and interested in applying for CCAMPIS funding, please indicate your interest on the waitlist application.

If you are accepted for admissions, you will be given a CCAMPIS application to complete. All student parents must submit a copy of their CSUSB class schedule prior to their child's admittance to the center. Class schedules must be turned in for your child's application to be considered complete. CCAMPIS will only cover child care costs for times when class is in session.

NEW FOR STUDENT PARENTS: Student parents whose children are not admitted may be eligible for Virtual Services, which will include materials for parent led activities, virtual circle times, and parent support. If interested, please indicate "yes" on your application. Interest in virtual services will not effect your child's waitlist status.

Important Contract Information

If you are accepted for an enrollment, you will be contacted for an enrollment appointment to fill out paperwork. After enrollment paperwork has been completed, a Child Care Contract will be signed. You will agree to be consistent in using your contracted hours for the academic year and pay all fees according to the monthly tuition schedule. Any alteration to your schedule is considered a change. A temporary change of contract will need to be signed if a change is made to regular hours for one day only. A permanent change is a change of regular hours for the remainder of the academic year and a new child care contract will need to be established.

All parents/caregivers must sign a childcare contract each academic year. No contracts will be written for less than one full year with the exception of summer sessions.

The full contract amount must be paid regardless of absences or holidays. No credits, make-up time, or switching of days will be permitted.

Payments made after the due date will be assessed a $25.00 late fee.

All fees must be paid up front or according to the payment calendar.

Staff and Community: Payment with late fee not paid by the last day of each month will result in immediate termination of your contract.

Students: Payment with late fee not paid by the last day of each month will result in immediate termination of your contract and your student records will be placed on hold.

Checks should be made payable to CSUSB Children’s Center. You can pay by check or money order ONLY.

A $25 processing fee will be charged for all returned checks. After the occurrence of two returned checks, payments must be made by money order thereafter.

Two weeks’ notice and/or payment are required to terminate a contract.
