CSUSB’s online master’s in criminal justice ranked among nation’s best
The online master’s program in criminal justice was listed at No. 32 in the nation in the 2026 Best Online Programs published by U.S. News & World Report. In this category, CSUSB is just one of five institutions on the list for California and one of two California State University campuses.
Guillermo Escalante, associate dean in the College of Natural Sciences and professor of kinesiology, models discipline and applied expertise at CSUSB — on campus and in competitive bodybuilding. After a three-year break, he returned to high-level competition last summer, earning seven top 10 finishes.
The International Journal of AI in Pedagogy, Innovation, and Learning Futures is designed as a peer-reviewed forum for research on how artificial intelligence is influencing teaching, learning and institutional decision-making. Its focus is on how institutions can build trust in learning outcomes, academic evaluation and long-term degree credibility.
When CSUSB was named to the Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement list in 2024, it was the only California State University selected. This year, CSUSB is joined by CSU campuses Channel Islands, Chico, Fresno, Monterey Bay, Northridge, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Marcos and Stanislaus.
