President of CSUSB Alumni Association, Steve Vivian, reflects on CSUSB’s 60-year legacy

As CSUSB celebrates its 60th anniversary, Vivian sees the milestone as both an opportunity for reflection as well as a call to action. “To me, it means being part of a legacy,” he said.

“With this NSF grant, we will launch new academic programs in AI, establish a community-focused AI Help Desk, and expand research opportunities for all students in the Inland Empire,” said Yunfei Hou, principal investigator of the PROPEL AI program, director of CSUSB’s William and Barbara Leonard Transportation Center, and professor of computer science

High school students from across San Bernardino County were able to participate in a variety of technical workshops, such as scenic art and costume design, during CSUSB’s inaugural Technical Theatre Symposium.

The symposium welcomed nearly 100 high school students for hands-on workshops, career panels and creative collaborations that highlighted behind-the-scenes careers in theatre and film.

The Cooperative Economic Empowerment Movement, in collaboration with the Office of Black Student Success and Career Center, hosted the Mic and Mind event at Cal State San Bernardino, celebrating youth creativity, entrepreneurship and community connection.
