Beth Alexander, supporter of CSUSB’s Veterans Success Center, remembered
Elizabeth Ann Alexander, known as Beth, supported the Veterans Success Center through the San Bernardino Elks Lodge No. 836, obtaining grants that assisted the center’s student veterans. She passed away on May 21.
The Cal State San Bernardino women’s volleyball, baseball and men’s golf teams – all of whom advanced to their respective NCAA Division II post-season championship tournaments – were recognized with certificates by Mayor Helen Tran and the City Council on June 3.
Maria Gadsden, a CSUSB alumna and adjunct professor in the Teacher Education and Foundations Department, was selected for a prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities summer institute program for educators in Saipan.
Cal State San Bernardino graduate Angel C. Guerra and co-author Sandy Avina will celebrate the publication of their new book, “Riskfetti: Risk Management for the Rest of Us,” a practical risk management guide, with a book launch Thursday, June 18, in Riverside.
