Chief Steven Griffin pledges community-based policing at CSUSB

Formally sworn in Sept. 4, Chief Steven Griffin emphasized visibility, accountability and relationships as foundations for creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive university community.

CSUSB’s Summer Algebra Institute helped 74 students in grades 8-10 strengthen their math skills through personalized instruction and hands-on activities. The five-week program also introduced students to college life and encouraged them to envision their futures in higher education.

CSUSB’s Summer Algebra Institute builds math skills and college confidence

Seventy-four students in grades 8-10 explored algebra, engineering and college life through CSUSB’s sixth annual Summer Algebra Institute. Hosted by CSUSB’s Cal-SOAP, the program combined personalized math instruction with hands-on projects and field trips designed to build confidence and prepare students for academic success.

Cal State San Bernardino students kicked off the new academic year with two days of fun, connection and campus exploration at Coyote Days.
