CSUSB Palm Desert Campus graduate turns internship into full-time career with the City of Indio
As a first-generation college student who worked full-time while pursuing her degree, Karina Campos was determined to create professional opportunities for herself.
Six students from Cal State San Bernardino’s Experiential Computing and Engaged Learning Scholarships (ExCELS) program attended the 2025 S-STEM Scholars Meeting in San Diego, joining more than 1,200 scholars nationwide for workshops, research presentations, and networking opportunities in STEM.
The event, for CSUSB student-parents and their families, will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, outside of Faculty Office Building 175.
Join the fun and stuff an Omnitrans full of toys for children and families in need in the community. The toy drive will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in parking Lot F. New, unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages will be accepted.
