CSUSB professor publishes twin books on AI, justice and legal training
Two new volumes edited by Viktor Wang, professor of educational leadership and technology, explore how artificial intelligence may influence court processes, legal training and ethical standards across global legal systems and institutions.
The Doctorate in Educational Leadership program, housed in the Watson College of Education, posted a 333% rise in on-time completion after a multi-year redesign emphasizing equity, academic support and strengthened advising, marking the program’s strongest improvement.
CSUSB delegations from the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses joined 26 universities and colleges representing five continents for a week of experiential learning, cultural exchange and global policy simulation. CSUSB was honored with a Distinguished Delegation Award at the closing ceremony.
Kurt Manio, director of CSUSB’s First Star Academy and associate director of Cal-SOAP, was recognized with the First Star Brilliance Award for his exceptional leadership, commitment and impact at the First Star 25th Anniversary Celebration — an inspiring evening of storytelling, recognition and reflection on a legacy of service to youth in foster care.
