“Fully Human and Fully Divine” is the title of the talk to be given by Christopher B. Hays, the Wilson Moore Chair of Ancient Near Eastern Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena.
The movie, which is also open to the public, will be shown Oct. 26 at the SMSU Theater, with the interview with Gore following at 3:45 p.m.

Sarah Schneewind, an associate professor of history at UC San Diego and an expert on the Ming Dynasty, will present her talk on Friday, Feb. 2, at the John M. Pfau Library, PL-4005
“Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan: Barbarian Conquerors or Agents of Global Interactions,” will be presented by Morris Rossabi at noon on Feb. 16 at the John M. Pfau Library, PL-4005.
“Building the Marital Bond in Qing Dynasty China (1644-1911)” will be presented by Weijing Lu, an associate professor from UC San Diego, at noon May 17, John M. Pfau Library, PL-4005.
“Asylums and the Insane in Early Twentieth-Century China,” is the title of the talk to be given by Emily Baum, associate professor of modern Chinese history at UC Irvine, at the John M. Pfau Library, room PL-4005.
“How Not to Write History: Teaching Methodology Through Aliens, Conspiracies, and the Chinese Discovery of America,” will be presented by Chelsea Zi Wang, an assistant professor of history at Claremont McKenna College, on April 19.
