Morales gave a speech at the Santos Manuel Student Union North grand opening; Brian Levin (criminal justice) discussed why the Aryan Nations Knights chose Arizona and commented on the increase of anti-Russian attacks; and Agustin Ramirez (VSC) commented on CSUSB being named a Military Friendly School.
CSUSB has once again been named a Military Friendly® School for 2022-23 with a gold ranking under the large public university category. It is the only California State University to earn gold.
CSUSB, listed in the top 50, was specifically recognized as the “Best State University System,” according to Intelligent.com.
The university has been named a 2021-2022 Military Friendly® School with a gold ranking for its commitment to veterans who are students and their families.
More than 150 toys were collected and donated to two local nonprofit agencies as part of a joint CSUSB holiday toy drive – Operation Pack the Sleigh.

The three grants, each worth $25,000, support various university programs, including the Veterans Success Center, Coyote First STEP, the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center and the Women’s Business Center.
The CSUSB Veterans Success Center honored its graduating veterans by giving them special stoles to wear for the university’s 2019 Fall Commencement, which will take place with three ceremonies in Coussoulis Arena on Saturday, Dec. 7.
