About 100-150 Latino and African-American high school seniors will visit CSUSB for the fifth annual Black & Brown Young Men’s Conference on Nov. 22.

The Human Library, created to challenge societal stereotypes and prejudices through positive dialogue, will be at Cal State San Bernardino’s John M. Pfau Library, room PL-5005, through Thursday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Emmy award-winning actor Ron Jones will portray several characters in “The Movement: 50 Years of Love and Struggle” as part of CSUSB’s Conversations on Diversity series on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
The conference on Friday, May 4, will feature keynote speakers, breakout workshops and tours of the campus.
The Cal State San Bernardino community is invited to a powerful talk by war journalist Haider Newmani, “Humanizing War: The Experiences of Soldiers and Civilians During Conflict,” on Tuesday, May 8.
The program was implemented to provide the students with early college awareness, preparedness and information to increase the number of African-American and Latino males who enroll and graduate from college.
