The Computer Science and Engineering Club at Cal State San Bernardino will host its first Google Cloud Platform Hackathon March 2-3.
The team “Peace of Mind,” with team members Samuel Jacuinde, Montana Williams, Nicholas Thai, Colby Holloman and Daniel Martinez, took first place. Each team member was awarded a Google Home Mini.
The 11 Cal State San Bernardino students attended the annual California Higher Education Student Summit in Sacramento held by the Cal State Student Association.
Dia Latino celebrated various cultures of Latin America, and featured music, food and displays, each representing one of the 16 Latin American countries.
“This will not only be used by today’s students, but this food pantry will be used by students five to 10 years from now,” said Prince Ogidikpe, the president of the CSUSB Associated Students Inc.
“Doctor Strange” kicks off the series, followed by “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” on July 20, and “Beauty and the Beast” on Aug. 24.
