
Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus will hold its 19th annual Golf Classic at Stone Eagle Golf Club to raise money to support student scholarships.

The online program, offered with the instruction of faculty in hospitality and business management, will run from April 9-May 18.

CSUSB and its Palm Desert Campus will be closed Friday, March 30, in observance of the state holiday commemorating the birthday of the late labor leader César Chávez.

Congratulations to the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus Ambassadors (dubbed "Team Yotes"), who won the Ronald McDonald House Walk4Kids "Most Spirited" award March 24.

The spring quarter lectures begin April 2. The class meets from 4-5:50 p.m. and the community is invited to attend at no cost.

The results of a recent economic impact study produced for the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau found that a fully utilized CSUSB Palm Desert Campus with 8,000 students will contribute greatly to the local economy in many ways.

The Annexstads were honored on April 11 when the Palm Desert Campus hosted its the third annual “Keeping Our Brightest Stars” Scholarship Dinner.

An all-day event geared toward students from all three Coachella Valley school districts, the expo kicks-off at 8:45 a.m. on May 4 in the campus’ Indian Wells Theater.
