
Cal State San Bernardino will celebrate Convocation beginning at 9 a.m. in Coussoulis Arena to formally start the beginning of the 2018-19 academic year.

Seven alumni from the Class of 1968 returned to their alma mater at Cal State San Bernardino to celebrate their golden anniversary.

The 2017-18 academic year was one of many accomplishments and milestones at Cal State San Bernardino, and, as highlighted in this video, they formed the foundation for the anticipated successes in the 2018-19 academic year.

CSUSB is part of a consortium of 16 CSU and nine UC campuses collectively awarded a five-year, $5 million grant from the National Science Foundation to increase diversity in physics and astronomy through the Cal-Bridge program.

The free event, which is open to the public, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Eucalyptus Room in the Meeting Center (formerly the Commons).

Manuel Paul, who graduated in 2017 with a degree in physics, is a recipient of the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He credits CSUSB for preparing him for post-graduate studies.

Each panelist explained their business, talked about their overall experiences they have had as business owners, and offered advice to the audience.
