For the fourth time in five years, and for the third consecutive year, the CSUSB club and honor society has been named the best chapter in the nation by the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.
Kelly Campbell (psychology) and Tiffany Jones (history) publish an article in the journal PURM, Brian Levin (criminal justice) is included in coverage of recent hate crimes, and Juan Delgado (English) and Thomas McGovern (art) are mentioned.
The journal, which showcases the work of undergraduate and graduate students, won third prize in the 2018 Gerald D. Nash graduate print journal national competition, the first time it had been entered in this category.
Tom Long was the recipient of the surprise announcement on Thursday when CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales led a group of about 30 faculty, staff and administrators to congratulate Long with the news during one of his classes.
