Marc Robinson (history) discussed his forthcoming book, “Washington State Rising: Black Power on Campus,” Pablo Gomez (psychology) published an article he coauthored with CSUSB students on bilingualism, and Yolonda Youngs (geography and environmental studies) will moderate a panel program on the Upper Snake River in Wyoming.
A GoFundMe page has been established to raise funds to purchase much needed items for the Orthandweni Family Care Centre, an orphanage that cares for abused, abandoned or orphaned children, and which the students will visit while in South Africa this summer.

The CSU’s Super Sunday initiative focuses on the importance of higher education, especially for Black and African Americans as CSU officials, such as CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales, visit Black and African American churches around California.
The 10th annual Pioneer Breakfast celebrated those individuals who exemplify the best of CSUSB, and honored students who were recipients of scholarships from the Black Faculty, Staff and Students Association.
