CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales visited St. Paul AME Church in San Bernardino on Feb. 10 to speak on the importance and value of a college degree as part of the CSU’s Super Sunday.

A CSUSB alumnus, Ramos held a community swearing-in ceremony on campus to celebrate a historic achievement and milestone as the first California Native American elected to the state Assembly.

Attendees at the conference were encouraged to stay involved in advancing issues important to them, even if it seems they face opposition, and to remember they define the future.

The mixer at the New York Grill was a success, with more than 70 people attending, including university President Tomás D. Morales, Alumni Director Crystal Wymer-Lucero, Latino Alumni Chapter board members and their guests.
